What happens when you have pains and the xray is negative? They may say that nothing’s wrong because the xray’s negative.
But maybe the xray is not the right test to pick up what’s causing the pain. If a person has nerve pain, the xray will not pick that up and the person will still have pain.
Read on about a client who had negative xrays and pain and what happened with her.
Lady with Painful Hands
The formerly physically active lady had hand pains for several years. She had seen her doctor and got xrays.
But the xrays did not show arthritis therefore nothing substantial was offered for the pain. Doing normal daily activities would cause pain. Opening up a bottle with the hands would cause shooting pains.
Driving with the hands on the wheel would cause pain. And how often do we drive?
I saw her at the office and had injections of PIT(perineural injection therapy) next to the nerves on the painful areas on both hands.
Afterwards she started moving her hands in ways that she had been unable to for the last several years.
Treatment of Unexplained Pain
It was incredible watching her move her hands and have her be amazed at what motion she had in her hands. She hadn’t had that before the visit but now she did.
She could bend her wrist up and down and move it to the left and right. And she could move it without pain!!
When a test is negative, realize that tests will not check for everything. A negative test does not mean that Everything is fine.
It just means the specific test is not right. What matters is what is going on with a person. And if a person has pain, realize that the nerves are most likely involved. An xray will not show nerves not working well. An MRI may show nerves but it will not tell you if the nerve is working well.
If a person is in pain then most likely some nerves are not working well. And PIT therapy can be helpful to treat that nerve pain. You can read more about PIT at https://www.lyftogtmed.com/about
