Acupuncture has been around for around several thousand years – has it changed?.  A lot has changed in the last couple thousand years in the world.

It would be hard to imagine that with the world changing that acupuncture wouldn’t change.  Acupuncture originally  has been done with short needles but lasers have been used and even injections with anesthetics have been used.

Let’s read about that.

Neural Therapy Benefits

The unassuming  lady had been doing a little bit more physical activity than usual.  She had been lifting a lot of boxes and that tweaked her back. She had constant right back pain going down her leg.

When she put heat on it, it felt better. It had been going on for 3 months at this time.  She had seen a chiropractor who had thought it was a problem with the back or the nerves. She had seen an acupuncturist several times and it seemed to help her but only for several days at a time.

When I saw her, she told me that she normally  runs cold and that the last couple months had been stressful as her son had been in the hospital this last month. Her exam showed that the acupuncture meridians along her right leg were not doing well.

I did acupuncture using injections (neural therapy) on those areas.  Almost immediately, she felt the back pain doing better and she felt WARMER as well!

Neural Therapy is Advanced Acupuncture

Neural therapy started in Germany as a treatment of the nervous system in 1925.  But there have been books written which show that neural therapy may have an overlap with acupuncture.   I have combined what I learned with acupuncture with neural therapy with great  results.

Acupuncture and neural therapy are both treatments of the nervous system so adding them together produces great results.

In this case, treating her back/leg pain with neural therapy got rid of the pain AND warmed her up. The therapy unblocked the channels in the body so that the pain could go away and the warmth of her body  could spread.

So if you or someone you know responds to acupuncture but the treatment  effect doesn’t last that long, think of neural therapy.  Neural therapy can be considered an advanced form of acupuncture which can get results sooner and for a longer period of time.
