Brain fog is a term that is used commonly – what is it and what can be done for it. Cleveland clinic defines it as a range of symptoms that cause thinking impairment. So that affects the ability to think clearly, focus, concentrate, remember, and pay attention. There is a clouding of the mind. That’s a good definition but what can be done for it?

Let’s read about a brain fog case and how she improved.

Brain Fog due to Electrohypersensitivity

The lady had been sensitive to cellphones and bluetooth for a while.  The symptoms had been getting worse now because of newly discovered past emotional trauma.

She could hear the buzz of electricity in her ears. When she got exposed to a city with a lot of cellphone towers her ability to think decreased – she couldn’t think .

When she turned off the cellphones around her she felt better but still couldn’t think that well. She had a treatment called “sweet nasal” which treated the nervous system in her brain.  Right after the treatment she felt her brain clear up more.

Why did she improve?  Sweet nasal is a variation of perineural injection therapy.  It involves dripping dextrose (sugar) up the nose.  The dextrose goes to the sphenopalatine ganglion which is up the nose.  The sphenopalatine ganglia is part of the autonomic nervous system and responds to sugar.  If a part of the nervous system is treated, it can help quite a bit.

So if you have ”brain fog”, think about seeing a provider who does perineural injection therapy. This technique doesn’t involve needles, it’s a little uncomfortable but the results can be pretty good. This “sweet nasal” may be an effective treatment for brain fog.
