Do you want to sleep better? There are different ways to do that but let’s check in on one that isn’t talked about so much.
Improving sleep quality is about creating a sleep friendly environment. A good sleeping environment means having a calming routine, a quiet environment, cooler room temperature, and as little electronic devices around you as possible.
What -what about my cellphone? Yes, that should be not close to you and definitely not close to your head on the nightstand. Why do I say that? Let’s read about a person which shows that point.
Sleep problems for 8 years
The gentleman had been having annoying sleep issues for the last 8 years. He would go to bed at a good time of 9 PM but then would wake up at 3 AM. Then he could not be able to get back to sleep.
Interestingly after he had trouble sleeping he moved to a new home which was pretty close to a cell phone tower. When he woke up at 3 AM, sometimes he had ringing of the ears. When he moved away from the home with the cellphone tower, his ringing of the ears improved.
When I saw him, the exam showed that the nervous system of the head wasn’t doing well. The nervous system was treated with neural therapy with immediate clearing of the mind. We shall see what happens with his sleep.
How does electronic devices affect sleep? The nervous system is affected by electronic radiation such as electricity, magnetic forces, and radiofrequency waves such as wifi or cellphone communication.
Some people’s nervous systems are more sensitive than others. These are the people who feel a lot better in nature than indoors in a department store, who love being on the beach , and empathetic – they are pretty aware of Other people’s emotions.
The nervous system gets affected and the nervous system is in charge of everything including sleep.
Creating a Sleep Friendly Environment
So what can you do? How to go about enhancing sleep through lifestyle changes? Put your cellphone on airplane mode when you are sleeping. Make sure the wifi router is as far away from your bedroom as possible.
Have as less electric/electronic devices in your bedroom and disconnect the power from them when it’s bedtime. See if those actions help with your sleep.
And if they do, great! Then consider seeing a healthcare provider who knows how to deal with electromagnetic forces and the nervous system.
