Why do we waste time sleeping? Some people think that time spent sleeping is better spent doing other things. That being productive means sleeping less. People may think that but that’s not true.
Sleep is necessary. Read on about a client who had a full night’s sleep for the first time in many years.
Better Nerves -> Better Sleep
The lady had been depressed and anxious for many years therefore her sleep wasn’t that great – she couldn’t really sleep thru the night. She was put on meds for several decades which helped somewhat.
She received a vaccine one day and unfortunately the next day she was involved in a car accident . Thereafter she experienced whiplash, leg numbness, and her heart racing when she did too much.
When she saw me it seemed that the car accident was the triggering factor for her health issue. We treated her nervous system with some injections.
At her next visit a week later, she reported that she had her first night in 10 years where she slept thru the night!
Sleep Affected by Nerves
Sleep is regulated by the Nervous system which includes the nerves. . When she hit her head during the car accident, she hurt some of the nerves. When I examined her, I saw that some of the areas on her head were painful so I knew the nerves were not working properly.
When I injected around the nerves using PIT(perineural injection therapy), her nerves improved. Therefore her nervous system was working so she was able to sleep thru the night which hadn’t happened in a decade.
PIT, for her, was an effective way to improve her sleep.
Importance of Sleep
Sleep is an important activity. The NIH states that not sleeping well for long periods of time increases the risk for High blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, depression, and obesity.
Sleep is not wasted time. It is necessary for our health.
If you are having issues with your sleep, PIT may be of help or perhaps other therapies such as supplements may be of help.
Sleep is important so please make sure you get enough sleep.

It put a smile on my face picturing Dr Chen laying on his back with head under sink and legs sprawled out into the kitchen 🙂
I don’t think with all the great work you do with your patients you’ll need to worry about having to do your own plumbing work……
I too am sleeping better since my last visit and treatments…. :-)))
Many thanks,
Chris
If I am bringing happiness into the world thru me doing plumbing, I am good with that! I’ll have to bring happiness and health more from my medical methods rather than my plumbing skills it seems based on my plumbing skills. Great to hear you’re sleeping better, it is relaxing, calming, and necessary.
